The goal of Health Careers Workforce Diversity program is to increase the applicant pool of minority students to careers in health care and to increase the cultural diversity awareness of area employers, educators, and practitioners.

• Providing a Lending Library that consists of books and audiovisual materials on various health careers. They are available for checkout to counselors, teachers, community or church leaders and any other persons working with student groups.

• Distributing the North Carolina Health Careers Manual, an informative publication designed to serve as a guide to health careers in North Carolina. It contains the latest information about educational requirements for health careers, which colleges offer certain programs, salary ranges for heath careers, and much more.
