University Professional Services seeks an
experienced and energetic Accounts Receivable Assistant Manager.
Responsibilities include the daily supervision and management of accounts
receivable staff, AR collection processes, staff recruitment/retention, and
policy and procedure development.
This position requires demonstrated
success in the management of a medical accounts receivable operation.
Also, requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, desktop
application experience (MS Excel, Word), and in-depth knowledge of physician
billing. Must possess skills in third party payer requirements, Medicare
regulations, and regulatory compliance.

RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
The Research Associate works under the supervision of the
Director of Research to assist and support AHEC faculty and residents in
conducting health services and health outcomes research. The Associate may also
assist in the assessment of resident competence. Duties include creating and
managing computerized databases, data collection and analysis, and technical and
scientific writing. Master's degree and three years research experience

PERINATAL OUTREACH EDUCATION COORDINATOR
60% - time position to develop, coordinate, evaluate and
implement educational activities in the North Carolina South Central Perinatal
Region (15 counties). This RN Coordinator will work to improve the delivery of
perinatal care by facilitating ongoing continuing educational programs and
activities designed to enhance the knowledge and clinical skills of perinatal
providers. The Coordinator will be responsible for working with local health
departments, hospitals and perinatal providers in obstetric offices to ensure
they have access to continuing educational opportunities with the most current
information about the care of women of childbearing age.
Qualifications:
- Masters in Nursing or Public Health (preferred) ,or
related degree required
- Current, unencumbered North Carolina registered nurse
licensure
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in obstetrical
care either in an inpatient or outpatient setting, or a combination of both
- Experience in planning and providing adult education
programs preferred
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a
team
- North Carolina driver’s license and a reliable
automobile, with a willingness to travel in a fifteen county region.
