The goal of the
American Heart Association, as well as this training center, is to
"reduce disability and death from cardiovascular disease and
stroke. We work to accomplish this mission through partnerships
between volunteers and staff." The impact goal of the AHA is
"to reduce coronary heart disease, stroke, and risky by 25%
by the year 2010."
